A confident man makes for a perfect first kiss but only as long as he has trong fingers in your hair, fearless lips, and, okay, maybe a muscular leg between your thighs.

I have a tendency to love it when the hero kisses the heroine to shut her up (because she’s unnecessarily fretting). She’s too distracted, so when he does it, she’s usually too stunned to react right away….

…and then, when she finally does regain motor function, she slaps him 😆

Perfect kisses also include quick pecks and affectionate brushes of the lips on the face…to me, that shows contentment. (I love it when the hero kisses the top of the heroine’s head or her forehead. Cute!)

What makes a good kiss? The kiss that fits the moment. Don’t give me slow, languid laps if we’re having a quickie in the coat closet! Gimme the rough stuff! A lazy Sunday afternoon of loving? Make me melt with the slow build.

…where’s my husband again? Oh husband…
