		<description>anderyn-actually, there was very little I could find out about Turkish brothels at that time, apart from the more traditional &#039;harem&#039; type often depicted in fiction and I didn&#039;t want to write about that stylized environment, be if for men or women.&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;I just made a reasonable guess that all cities/ports have brothels, most of them fairly gritty and down to earth and more than willing to service anything. and that&#039;s really what I wanted for my characters-somewhere seriously unpleasant, basic and not haremy at all.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Hope it didn&#039;t destroy your enjoyment of the book too much!</description>

		<description>I picked up the book last night at Borders and read it. My goodness, it was certainly steamy! I had fallen for Peter in &quot;Antonia&#039;s Bargain&quot;, and I was v. happy to see his tale. The only quibble I have is -- wouldn&#039;t a Turkish brothel in that time period be for males only? It niggled at me, and I would love to know if you have some research that indicates otherwise.</description>
