I don’t know what Mr. Mel will feed the boys while I’m gone, but frankly, that’s his problem. Both boys are big enough to fix themselves a sandwich if they don’t like the offerings. However, Mr. Mel is quite and excellent cook, so I’m sure they’ll be in good hands.

Atlanta’s going to be so much fun! I can’t wait to meet everybody.

When my husband was growing up, his mom went on a trip and left his dad to care for the kids. Hubby and his sister got tuna salad sandwiches in their lunchboxes and weren’t too happy about it, so they didn’t eat them. When Dad found out, they had to face the tuna salad sandwiches for dinner, then breakfast the next morning, until the sandwiches were gone. Icky. I’m sure Mr. Kate doesn’t do that to your kids, though.
