This book is so hot I suggest several drool rags and a working air conditioner. This futuristic planet and it’s men are every women’s fantasy come true. This is if your fantasies contain true love, sexual excess and muscular men who are sensitive, emotional, and committed to serve your every need. I am jealous of Douglass Fraser and her space adventures. This book was wonderfully written pulling you in and connecting you with not only the characters, but the plant and it’s plight. I highly recommend this book. I am looking forward to the author’s next book and am hoping it’s centered around this purple planet and it’s unusual inhabitants.
Ms. Pearce created, with this world of Viking descendants, a fascinating and compelling setting for this novel. The whole society hierarchy is very intriguing and it is interesting to see how the heroine finds her own way into this system. Douglass isn’t a meek heroine and she definitely doesn’t let her life be easily ruled by the sometimes-overbearing alpha king Marcus Blood Axe. She really fights for her own interest and for her men, so that even the intrigue-spinning “villainess” of the story doesn’t stand a chance against her.
Marcus Blood Axe is a pure dominant alpha, even if he is sometimes a little bit too dominant, but in the end, he follows his heart. An additional aspect that makes the story so interesting and hot, are Douglass’s three bodyguards. They bring even more spice into the story.
PLANET MAIL is a story with a fascinating setting, intriguing characters and a fast-paced and sometimes surprising storyline. This reviewer can really recommend this book and she hopes that there will be a sequel.
Kate Pearce spins a delicious yarn of sexy men and the woman who is the center of their universe. Lies and jealousy threaten to rip apart the love that is developing between Marcus and Douglass... Keep the fan handy while reading this book! The sex scenes are boiling hot. This is a love story that any woman will adore.
Planet Mail is an erotic romp that will captivate the reader. Douglass and Marcus are both strong-willed characters that the reader will love. The chemistry between the two burns from their first meeting and only gets hotter. Douglass and Marcus face many challenges and are able to overcome them because of their love and their friends. The secondary characters also stand out has they each play an important part in the couple’s happiness. I enjoyed that Douglass and Marcus were each willing to put the other’s happiness before their own needs.

By the end of the book… hold onto your seats, folks! What a great wrap up! I loved it. Not only did the characters pull me into the drama, the tension increased and picked up speed all the way ‘til the end. And can you say yummy men? Umm… ah, I mean I enjoyed watching each character grow. I highly recommend picking up a copy of your own and find out for yourself.

Ms. Pearce captures the attention of the reader from the first sentence in the prologue until the last sentence of the final chapter. You immediately empathize with Marcus and the state of affairs on his planet as he tries desperately to sire an heir. Although the process sickens him, he does what he must for his people and a person cannot feel anything but respect for this character. Once Douglass enters the picture, you can see that his entire attention is focused on her and her pleasure, which he assures by giving her three gorgeous men devoted to her in addition to him. The entire book is filled with amazingly hot and sizzling scenes of sex between both Marcus and Douglass and Douglass and her three sexy men, Sven, Harlan, and Bron.
The scenes within Planet Mail were some of the hottest and most erotic that I have ever read. Let me assure the readers of the world that these secondary characters did nothing but contribute to the level of passion in this book. With the three gorgeous men in the book being unattached, Ms. Pearce has allowed the story to be continued if she chooses and I for one certainly hope she does. This book has earned a place on my keeper shelf and Ms. Pearce a spot at the top of my auto-buy list.

Um, please, can I crash land here also? Cared for hand and foot and pleasured anytime? Oh yeah, I could suffer through it. This story is full of sensual pleasures for the reader. Douglass has not only a wealth of men to enjoy; she also has one very special man. Marcus comes from a culture that is radically different from Douglass’s and I liked him for the way he struggled to understand her views and find a way to accommodate them. Marcus isn’t the only one making Douglass feel special. She has three yummy other men in charge of keeping her wet and ready with a fully charged libido.
As the story progresses, each man takes on his own individual personality which adds to the richness of the tale. Douglass’s dilemma is also intriguing; she wants to stay (who wouldn’t?), but some political intrigues are causing problems and, most especially, she has a son that she must find a way back to. This is a deliciously lusty tale that also includes a building depth of emotion between the main characters that makes it even more satisfying. A very enjoyable tale. P.S. Have your toys at hand when reading!
Wow! This story is a veritable inferno of heavenly sexual delights. Your heart rate will soar off the charts. Your skin will tingle with desire, as four strong handsome men pleasure Douglass beyond belief. My emotions were all over the place when Douglass and Marcus believed their love was doomed. Women should definitely experience this thrill ride, so make sure to read this story.
Planet Mail by Kate Pearce is a hot, sexy read. The book opens with a bang and ends very sweetly. I had a little trouble at first with the fact that the heroine was being pleasured by more than one male, but once I settled into the fact that it was the custom of the planet I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and the telling of it.
I found myself “what iffing…” that is to say what would I do if placed in that situation. For me that is a sure sign that a story has drawn me in and taken hold in my imagination.
Douglass and Marcus are both strong willed people who fight against their instincts to do what is best for those around them. Each time Douglass stood up to the planet’s views on women I found myself cheering.
I hope that Ms. Pearce will take us to Valhalla again. There were plenty of characters that would lend themselves to a second story. Especially Sven, who captured my heart as much as the story of Douglass and Marcus did.
If you love futuristic tales with plenty of twists and turns then this is definitely the book for you...The conflict is never ending and you will find yourself turning the pages to see what will happen next.
